the worst is over

01 Apr

My dad was rushed to CGH A&E on the 18th of march when he suffered severe chest pain. Turns out he had 3 blockages to the main arteries in his heart. Thank goodness it didn’t burst.

Underwent surgery last wed, re-routed the blocked arteries by grafting the arteries taken from his left thigh. Operation successful and he was discharged ytd, went to my uncle’s house to stay one night then complain sian and came home today. hur hur

Anyway, It has been a seriously fucked up 3 weeks for me, hypersensitive emotions, stressed, worried blahblah the usual, all thrown in together. shit it sucked to the max!!!!! but it’s all over.

*heaves a sigh of relief*

That is all.

…and no, this is NOT an april’s fool joke. believe it or not, there IS a limit to my lame-ness. THANKS.

haha it’s either transluminal coronary angioplasty (balloon) or stenting (wire mesh). both are for not so serious cases. heh

Good to know your dad is ok. My father-in-law had the same experience too. Had a quadruple bypass. Stayed off the cigarettes and watched his diet. He good now.
